Refund Policy

Last updated: 30 July 2026

This Refund Policy explains how refunds, Account Credit and Sovereigns adjustments are handled.

Refunds, Account Credit and Sovereigns

Refund eligibility depends on the status of the entry, competition and payment. We may refuse refunds where a competition has closed, a draw has taken place, an entry has been used in a draw, a payment has failed or been disputed, or there is suspected misuse.

Where a refund is approved, it may be returned as Account Credit or by another method we confirm. Account Credit can be used for eligible future entries. Withdrawals may be requested where the available balance is at least GBP 1.00 and withdrawal checks are satisfied. Significant withdrawals may need to be paid in more than one transfer for operational, banking, fraud-prevention or security reasons.

Sovereigns are loyalty rewards, not cash. 1 Sovereign has a redemption value of 1p. 100 Sovereigns equals GBP 1 when redeemed against eligible purchases. Sovereigns cannot be sold, transferred or withdrawn and are non-refundable once used. Sovereigns may expire after 6 months of account inactivity. If a qualifying purchase is refunded, cancelled or reversed, any Sovereigns earned from that purchase may be removed, which may create a negative balance.

Free postal entries

Free postal entries do not involve a purchase price and therefore do not create a refund entitlement.

How to request a refund

To request a refund for an eligible paid entry, sign in and select your account button in the main navigation, then select My Entries. Find the entry you want to refund, select Refund entry, review the refund amount and confirm the request. The refundable externally paid amount will be added to your Account Credit and the refunded tickets will be removed from the competition.

If the Refund entry button is unavailable, or you believe a further refund or Account Credit adjustment is required, contact [email protected] or submit a complaint. Include your account email, competition name, entry reference and a clear explanation. Do not include bank-login credentials or full card details.
